Guidelines
Art must be submitted with a completed application form. Entries submitted without an application will be rejected. Applications should be typed or printed and attached to the back of the photograph.

Tag or poster board must be used. Typing paper alone is not allowed.
* Minimum Size: 8.5 x 11 * Maximum Size: 11 x 17

Mediums: Pen, pencil, paint, markers, crayon, collage materials, tempera, water color, charcoal, etc.

Entries must the original work of the entrant. Winners may be required to supply the original negative or disc to have a larger photo developed for display.

  
Considerations:
1) Teachers should consider subject matter in relation to the theme, creativity, and originality in making selections for entries

Judging:
The art will be judged by an impartial panel of judges. The announcement of winning entries will be made on Friday, January 18, 2008 at the Art Awards Reception, located in the Classroom Teachers Association Building -715 Spencer Drive, West Palm Beach at 5:00 pm.

Awards:1st, 2nd, and 3rd place awards will be given at each level. Certificates will be given to all entrants, regardless of their placement.
  
Return of Artwork:
Please contact Bobbie Richardson by March 12, 2008, for the return of entries. Artwork unclaimed by this date will become the property of MLKCC.
  
Resume:The artist's resume and photo should be available upon request.
