MLK, Jr. Coordinating Committee of West Palm Beach, FL

The MLK Celebration in January and subsequent MLKCC events held throughout the year, serve two purposes (1) To expand the cultural program for students centered around the principals by which Dr. King lived his life; and (2) To utilize, introduce and promote the use of the MLK Memorial Park to members of the community. The MLK Memorial Park will be the focal point of many celebrations as it emerges as one of the major cultural sites in Palm Beach County. Because of its historical importance, we expect to expand our outreach to include a more diverse population.
